Eric Hiatt
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Eric earned his PhD in Planetary Geophysics from the University of Texas at Austin, where he developed global-scale groundwater models to constrain early Mars’ paleoclimate, paired with lab-based fluid dynamics experiments to assess the validity of governing equations used in numerical modeling. He is currently working with Phillip Skemer to explore how compositional differences control the initiation of plate tectonics on terrestrial planets.
