In St. Louis: Ferguson Commission
A discussion organized by the Academy for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
What was the Ferguson Commission and how did it operate? Why was it important for the St. Louis region? What was WashU’s Role? What’s the gist of the report? What has happened since? How is it relevant to my day-to-day work?
In addition to addressing the above, this live and interactive Zoom session will offer participants an opportunity to build skills in collaborative problem-solving for complex problems, build confidence navigating conversations about St. Louis and Washington University’s response to the events “post-Ferguson,” and explore skills that support an inclusive work environment.
Some pre-reading is required.
After you are registered in Learn@Work, a Zoom invitation for the date/time selected will be sent.
