Farzaneh Aziz Zanjani

Farzaneh is working in the seismology group with Michael Wysession and Douglas Weins. She earned her Ph.D. in Marine Geoscience (Geophysics) from the University of Miami, focusing on the seismic structure and intermediate-depth earthquakes of the Hikurangi and Aleutian-Alaska Subduction Zones. Her previous postdoctoral research involved monitoring subsidence of high-rise buildings in Miami using InSAR technology and collaborating with the Texas Seismological Network to analyze source characteristics of induced seismicity in the Delaware Basin, Texas.
