All candidates for a degree must Apply for Program Completion in Workday to be considered for degree conferral. The deadline for filing the form is updated each semester on the Office of the University Registrar's Academic Calendar.
- Undergraduate students are able to apply for program completion after they have completed a minimum of 80 units. Graduate students can apply after completing at least one unit. Students can submit their application as early as three standard academic periods prior to the expected completion date.
- If the student fails to complete degree requirements during the semester for which the student expects to complete their degree, the student must complete the Apply for Program Completion task for a subsequent degree period.
